My entire family loves Planet Sub!  We introduced by parents to PSub and they don't normally like sandwich places, but they suggest meeting here for the Dagwood's Dream.

My husband, three children and I ate here regularly and then we moved to Germany for three years.  It was on everyone's "List"  of must haves when we came back once a year.

The fresh toasted bread is wonderful!  In addition to the Dagwood, some of our favorites are the GreenTurkey, Smokey Southwest Chicken, Creamy Club and The Experience.

So wow, was definitely not expecting to have one of the best sandwiches I have ever had today... But I did and I will be back. This is coming from a Chicagoan too.

Location: 5/5 - I mean it's near a bunch of stuff and in a pretty hopping area and is easy to get to, so can't really say anything negative.

Atmosphere: 4/5 - It's comfy inside and the decor is fine. Potbelly's is obviously a chain and it puts emphasis on its interior design, but this place was nice.

Service: 5/5 - The cashier was such a nice guy. I told him it was my first time and that I am from Chicago and usually stick to Potbelly's. He told me he had never been to PB (I do not blame him after this sandwich) and he gave me some recommendations. He also gave me a little discount because it was my first time which was very generous and totally unnecessary, but greatly appreciated.

Food: 5/5 - When you take your first bite and you lose your train of thought, you know you have just experienced true food glory. I ordered the bigger size of the Experience at the cashier's recommendation, and they are not lying with that name. I have never had cream cheese on a sandwich before, but it was out of this world. Now I have to go back and try their original sandwich that they are known for, but it will be hard not to get the Experience again.

Price: 5/5 - $10 is not super cheap for a sandwich, but then it comes out and you're like, okay I see why it's $10 because it's over a foot long. Mine was loaded with chicken and pepperoni and bacon too, so this is a pretty good bang for your buck.

Excited to come here again and thank you to that great cashier for a great first experience! (Literally and sandwichly!)

I love Planet Sub for the vegetarian options. The Tempeh Parm with extra sauce is my favorite. This location always has knowledgeable and friendly employees, great music, and fast service.

I do feel like the place could use a deep cleaning with a bottle of Windex, however. The framed photos on the wall have smudges and fingerprints all over them and the front window is smeared with fingerprints and goo. Not very pleasant to look at while enjoying this delicious food. It's still one of my favorite places to grab a quick and affordable bite:)

Used to be great but ever since they sent the red head manager from corporate to take over they don't put a reasonable amount of meat on the sandwich. Every time he's working, I have to complain that a planet sub should have a full piece of ham, turkey and beef. Today again, there is literally a torn piece of roast beef that isnt even a full bit of beef. Turkey was same. Tired of having to complain every time to get a sandwich made right.

Everyone at work preaches about the absolute goodness of this place and I finally dove in head first to give them a whirl.  I must say, I went in with a solid decision but ended up taking the advice of the employee and switched gears a bit by finally choosing the Experience.  I was not disappointed but I'm excited to try the Green Turkey next time!  There will be a next time and probably some time soon as it was pretty tasty sandwich and I thoroughly enjoy the uniqueness and depth of their menu.
